      Where, as respects a widow’s (non-contributory) pension which is payable under the Widows’ and Orphans’ Pensions Acts, 1935 to 1952, and which includes an allowance in respect of children, the day from which the pension becomes payable is, or is after, the appointed day, the rate of the pension shall not exceed thirty-two shillings per week.
