1. funny, humorous (such that it makes one laugh, feel merry)

2. funny, strange, bizarre (not normal, unusual)

   lidojot bija pavisam jocīga sajūta‎ ― (while) flying, there was a very funny feeling

   viņš kļuvis tāds jocīgs‎ ― he became so funny (= strange)

   jocīgs cilvēks... nopietns, pārāk nopietns, bet tād pēkšņi kļūst bērnišķīgs‎ ― funny person... serious, too serious, but then suddenly he becomes childish

   šeit gan bija jocīgas mašīnas: izskatījās, it kā tām būtu milzīgas rokas ar dzelzs pirkstiem‎ ― here there was a funny (= bizarre) machine: it looked as if it had a huge arm with iron fingers
