    viņš no kā nekā nejēdz ― he doesn't know anything about that

    vai tad viņš jēdz strādāt! ― he sure knows how to work!
    prasi, vai viņš pats jēdz, ko runā ― ask if he knows what he is talking
    vai tad veterinārārste kaut ko jēdz arī? ― does the veterinarian know anything at all?
