1. to lift, raise

   De Koh böhrt de Steert — The cow raises its tail.

2. to carry, bear

   Kannst du den vullen Ammel böhren oder is he to swoor? — Can you carry the full bucket or is it too heavy?.

Conjugation

The strong past participle boren is also used, but only with the meaning "born, given birth".

From Old Saxon *burian, from Proto-Germanic *burjaną. Compare Dutch beuren.
