1. (transitive) to change, to convert, to transform, to modify

   փոխել զհանդերձս‎ ― pʿoxel zhanderjs ― to change one's clothes

   փոխել զշապիկ‎ ― pʿoxel zšapik ― to shift one's shirt or shift

   փոխել զբնակութիւն‎ ― pʿoxel zbnakutʿiwn ― to shift one's quarters, to remove

   փոխել զկարծիս‎ ― pʿoxel zkarcis ― to alter or change one's mind

   փոխել զպատիժ (ամոքել)‎ ― pʿoxel zpatiž (amokʿel) ― to commute a punishment

   փոխել զհրամանս/զիրաւունս Տեառն‎ ― pʿoxel zhramans/zirawuns Teaṙn ― to transgress God's commandments

2. (transitive) to remove, to displace, to transfer, to transport
