   glic - wise

   na bu ghlice - wiser

   mòr - big

   na bu mhotha - bigger

Usage notes

• Lenites the following word.
• Only used in the past tense and the conditional mood. In the present and future tenses, nas is used.
• Before vowels and words beginning with fh followed by a vowel the form used is na b'.
