Usage notes

This demonstrative can be used alone, as a pronoun. It also serves as a definite article for plural nouns of either grammatical gender. In this capacity it precedes the noun, with the genitival adjective n in between, e.g. "these feet" is nw n rdw (literally "this of feet").
