Usage notes

Meds Yeghern is used by Armenians synonymous with Հայոց ցեղասպանություն ‎(Hayocʿ cʿełaspanutʿyun, “Genocide of Armenians”) to refer to the Armenian Genocide the way Shoah is used by Jews to refer to the Holocaust.
