1. A distinguishable foreign word ending in nouns and adjectives. It is not considerable as an independent Hungarian suffix.

   emigráns ‎(“immigrant”)

   elegáns ‎(“elegant”)

Usage notes

• Harmonic variants:

  -áns added to back vowel words

  -ens added to front vowel words
