   Eomma-ege jeonhwa-reul haetseumnida.

   I called my mother

Usage notes

에게 is the non-honorific form of 께 (kke). Both are used only with nouns denoting animate objects (usually people or animals). For nouns denoting inanimate objects, 에 (e) is used instead.
