Etymology

The stem *քե- ‎(*kʿe-) is from Proto-Indo-European *twé. Compare Ancient Greek accusative σέ ‎(sé), Sanskrit nominative त्वम् ‎(tvám). The ending -եզ ‎(-ez) is from the same Proto-Indo-European *-ǵʰi, *-ǵʰe particle as the -ձ ‎(-j) in ինձ ‎(inj), with the regular development of *ǵʰ → զ ‎(z) between vowels.

1. dative singular of դու ‎(du)

   ոչ ոք ասասցէ քեզ‎ ― očʿ okʿ asascʿē kʿez ― nobody will tell you

   ինչ ոչ արարի քեզ‎ ― inčʿ očʿ arari kʿez ― I have done nothing to you

   բան ինչ է ինձ առ քեզ‎ ― ban inčʿ ē inj aṙ kʿez ― I have a word to say to you

2. accusative singular of դու ‎(du)

   հաւատք քո կեցուցին զքեզ‎ ― hawatkʿ kʿo kecʿucʿin zkʿez ― thy faith hath saved thee

   բազում դպրութիունք զքեզ ի մոլորութիւն դարձուցանեն‎ ― bazum dprutʿiunkʿ zkʿez i molorutʿiwn darjucʿanen ― much learning doth make thee mad

3. locative singular of դու ‎(du)

   սիրելի է ինձ տեսանել ի քեզ‎ ― sireli ē inj tesanel i kʿez ― I am very happy to see in you
