Cognate with Kazakh тырма (tırma), Kyrgyz тырмоо (tırmoo), Uzbek tirma (“rake”).
Compare also with Kyrgyz тырмоо (tırmoo, “rake”), Southern Altai тырмууш (tırmuuš, “rake”) - these are derived from the same root, but using other affixes.
