tushescu (past participle tushitã)
From Latin tussiō, with the Aromanian suffix -escu or through a later Vulgar Latin or early Romance root *tussēscō as with most other fourth conjugation verbs. Compare Daco-Romanian tuși, tușesc, also Italian tossire, tossisco.
