Suppletive aorist of bie; from Proto-Albanian *rauša, from Proto-Indo-European *h₃reu-e/o ‘run, hurry’ (compare Latin ruere ‘to rush; collapse’, Ancient Greek ὀρούω ‎(oroúō) ‘to hurry’, Czech ruch ‘movement’).
