1. a "preposition" which indicates that the sumti which follows it indicates the date at which (the action of) a selbri occurs

   de'i li pamu pi'e ci la djordjos. dunda lo rozgu la suzyn.

   On March 15 George gives a rose to Susan.

   la djordjos. dunda de'i li pamu pi'e ci lo rozgu la suzyn.

   George gives, on March 15, a rose to Susan. (≡ On March 15 George gives a rose to Susan.)

   la djordjos. dunda lo rozgu de'i li pamu pi'e ci la suzyn.

   George gives a rose, on March 15, to Susan. (≡ On March 15 George gives a rose to Susan.)

   la suzyn. pu djica de'i li pamu pi'e ci lo'o lenu penmi ti'u li rere pi'e vomu la djordjos.

   On March 15, Susan wanted to meet George at 10:45 PM.

Usage notes

• The "prepositional phrase" formed with this cmavo should not go at the end of a bridi (after the last sumti; the Lojban grammar does not allow it) but it can go at the beginning of the bridi (before the first sumti) or between the selbri and the second sumti or between a pair of sumti (after the selbri).
