bibliographic database ‎(plural bibliographic databases)

1. (library science) An electronic index to journal or magazine articles, containing citations, abstracts and often either the full text of the articles, or links to the full text.
2. (library science) A database containing information about books and other materials held in a library, such as an online library catalog, or OPAC.
