Usage notes

• When pronouncing the inflected forms, the numeric part "1000:" is replaced with the stem tuha-.
• The inflected forms are rarely used as in attributive use the plain 1000. is assumed to be in the same case as its head word:

  Se on 1000. sivulla. (reads: Se on tuhannennella sivulla.)

• Another reason to avoid inflected forms is that in case of tuhat they are longer than the unabbreviated words; see the inflected forms under tuhannes.
