  1. The abtemporal converb, expressing that the action of the main clause has happened or has been happening since or during the action of the subordinate clause

Usage notes

  • When followed by an auxiliary verb, it expresses something similar to English perfect progressive, and with the particle л (l) before the auxiliary it can be translated as "still be _____ing"
  • The verb may be repeated for effect, either with the same suffix, or with the (-n) converb coming first.
