-ење ‎(Latin spelling -enje)

1. Suffix appended to verb roots to create a neuter verbal noun denoting an action or the result of an action. Analogous to English gerund suffix -ing.

   лет(ј)ети ‎(“to fly”) → летење ‎(“(the act of) flying”).
