坂道 ‎(hiragana さかみち, romaji sakamichi)

1. slope, incline, hill (path or road on a hill)

   集落自体 (しゅうらくじたい)は駅 (えき)から徒歩２０ (とほ２０)〜３０分 (３０ぷん)ほど坂道 (さかみち)を登 (のぼ)れば姿 (すがた)を現 (あらわ)す。

   Shūraku jitai wa eki kara toho 20~30 pun hodo sakamichi o noboreba sugata o arawasu.

   From the station, if you climb the slope you can make out the village after about 20 or 30 minutes.
