ใช้บังคับ ‎(abstract noun การใช้บังคับ)

1. (law) to apply.
   • พระราชบัญญัตินี้มิให้ใช้บังคับแก่รัฐสภาและคณะรัฐมนตรี

     This Act shall not apply to the National Assembly and the Council of Ministers.

   • ให้นำบทบัญญัติมาตรา ๑๔ วรรคสอง และมาตรา ๑๕ วรรคสอง วรรคสาม และวรรคสี่ มาใช้บังคับโดยอนุโลม

     The provisions of section 14, paragraph 2, as well as section 15, paragraphs 2, 3, and 4, shall apply mutatis mutandis.

   • ให้บทบัญญัติของหมวด ๒ ยังคงใช้บังคับต่อไปเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของรัฐธรรมนูญนี้

     The provisions of Chapter 2 shall continue to apply as part of this Constitution.

   • สนธิสัญญานั้นจะแก้ไขเพิ่มเติมโดยความตกลงระหว่างภาคีทั้งหลายก็ได้ ข้อกำหนดที่ระบุไว้ในภาค ๒ ย่อมใช้บังคับแก่ความตกลงนั้นด้วยตราบที่สนธิสัญญามิได้ว่าไว้เป็นอื่น

     A treaty may be amended by agreement between the parties. The rules laid down in Part II apply to such an agreement except in so far as the treaty may otherwise provide.

2. (law) to become applicable or effective.
   • พระราชบัญญัตินี้ให้ใช้บังคับตั้งแต่วันถัดจากวันประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษา

     This Act shall come into force as from the day following the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.

   • กฎกระทรวงนั้น เมื่อประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษาแล้ว ให้ใช้บังคับได้

     Those ministerial regulations shall take effect upon their publication in the Government Gazette.

   • อนุสัญญานี้ให้ใช้บังคับตั้งแต่วันที่สามสิบหลังจากวันส่งมอบสัตยาบันสารหรือภาคยานุวัติสารฉบับที่สามสิบห้า

     The present Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the date of deposit of the thirty-fifth instrument of ratification or accession.
