- الْمِرِّيخُ هُوَ الْكَوْكَبُ الرَّابِعُ فِي الْبُعْدِ عَنْ الشَّمْسِ فِي الْنِظَامِ الشَّمْسِيِّ وَهُوَ الْجَارُ الْخَارِجِيُّ لِلْأَرْضِ وَيُصَنَّفُ كَوْكَبًا صَخْرِيًّا، مِنْ مَجْمُوعَةِ الْكَوَاكِبِ الْأَرْضِيَّةِ.
- al-mirrīḵu huwa l-kawkabu r-rābiʿu fī l-buʿdi ʿan aš-šamsi fī l-niẓāmi š-šamsiyyi wahuwa l-jāru l-ḵārijiyyu lilʾarḍi wayuṣannafu kawkaban ṣaḵriyyan, min majmūʿati l-kawākibi l-ʾarḍiyyati.
- Mars is the fourth planet in distance from the Sun in the Solar System and it is Earth's external neighbor and is classified as a rocky planet from the group of the Terrestrial Planets.
