התייבש \ הִתְיַבֵּשׁ • ‎(hityabésh) ‎(hitpa'el construction)

1. (intransitive) To dry, to dry out: to become dry.

   הבגדים מתייבשים.‎ ― hab'gadím mityabshím. ― The clothes are drying.

Usage notes

• Unlike English dry, Hebrew הִתְיַבֵּשׁ is specifically used when a person or thing is becoming dry on its own. When one person or thing is drying another, the related transitive verb ייבש \ יִבֵּשׁ ‎(yibésh) is used.
