• The most common form of this word is the plural אֲשָׁכִים ‎(ashakhím). The dual form is very rare and does not exist in modern Hebrew.
• While the proper singular is אֶשֶׁךְ ‎(éshekh), the non-standard pronunciation אָשָׁךְ ‎(ashákh) is common.
